In 1996, David de Pury, Guillaume Pictet, Henri Turrettini and Christian Berner decided to join up to create their company.
Although the founders were sad to learn that David de Pury had died a few years later, they took several new partners on board, i.e. Christopher Quast, Melchior de Muralt, Gérard Bagnoud and Charles Turrettini, all of whom shared the founders’ common ambitions, i.e.:
- work independently and according to their own judgment, and with their chosen business partners
- emphasize clarity and consistency in their investment style
- design and implement projects capable of optimizing their clients’ assets.
For partners to know each other requires:
- making sure that they work smoothly and effectively together
- making sure that ideas circulate
- emphasizing complementarity and expertise.
