Engagement Team
Ernst A. Brugger (1947) – a leading specialist in corporate responsibility for 25 years, founding member of the Foundation Board of the Henry Dunant Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, honorary member of the ICRC committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Blue Orchard – directs the mission of the Fondation Guilé.
Thomas Streiff (1960) – senior corporate responsibility consultant, CEO of the Sustainability Forum Zurich, former advisor of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and of the IMD-Corporate Sustainability Management Forum — directs the Guilé Engagement Team.
Oliver Johner (1972) – seconded for two years by the Fondation Guilé to the United Nations Global Compact Office in New York to manage the "Communication On Progress" as well as various projects relating to human rights, the environment (CEO Water Mandate) or anti-corruption — manages the Guilé engagement methodology.
Gilles Carbonnier (1965) – professor at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies with twenty years of experience in the fields of cooperation and development, in particular at the SECO (State Secretariat for Economic Affairs), in various missions in Iraq, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Western Africa and Latin America, and as Director of the Department of Public-Private Relationships within the ICRC Directorate — participates in Guilé Engagement Team dialogues with companies covering development and cooperation issues.
Andrea Kammerer (1979) – completed studies in social anthropology, constitutional law and political science; prepared a graduate thesis in India on a World Bank project and gained experience with Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) — heads the initiative of approaching non-signatory companies of the Global Compact as part of the Guilé Engagement Team.
Peter Barta – Ph.D. Candidate in Organization and Culture, University of St. Gall (HSG), Switzerland - holds a Master's degree of International Affairs from the Andrássy Gyula University in Budapest, Hungary. During his studies, he interned for the EU parliament, the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures and the Peace Brigades International in Bern. Peter is an analyst in the Engagement Team.
Funds Management Team
Christopher Quast (1967) – former senior consultant with McKinsey, active in the European equities markets for over ten years as partner at de Pury Pictet Turrettini & Cie S.A. — is the portfolio manager responsible for the Guilé European Engagement Fund.
Jean Niklas, CPA, CFA, CMT (1967) – formerly audit manager at Ernst & Young, then member of the finance department of a private equity investment group (Orior) — has been in charge of equities research at de Pury Pictet Turrettini & Cie S.A. since 2001 and co-manages the Guilé European Engagement Fund.
Vincent Strauss (1956) – with more than 30 years of experience in the French banking industry, in particular as CCF's head of institutional operations and then manager of the Pacific region at Indosuez Bank — is Managing Director of Comgest S.A. and portfolio manager responsible for the Guilé Emerging Markets Engagement Fund.
Wojciech Stanislawski (1975) – portfolio manager specializing in emerging markets - joined Comgest in 1999 where he co-manages several funds including Magellan and the Guilé Emerging Markets Engagement Fund.
Executive Team
Dr. Melchior de Muralt (1960) – active in the creation of Ethos when he was member of the management team of Lombard Odier and currently President of the World Microfinance Forum Geneva – partner at de Pury Pictet Turrettini & Cie S.A.; actively involved in Sustainable Finance in Geneva for 15 years — is the catalyst for the responsibility process that is part of the Guilé Fund management.
Doris Rochat (1971) - former manager of French-speaking Swiss clients at IAM S.A. and Marketing Director of the bank Ferrier Lullin & Cie S.A. — directs the promotion of the Guilé Funds among Swiss and foreign institutional investors. Contact : rochat@ppt.ch
